WHEN PLAN Privacy Policy
1. How the app works
WHEN PLAN is a local planner that works without account registration or login. Preparation schedules and budget information entered by the user are stored on the user's device by default.
2. Information stored on the device
The app stores schedules, dates, budgets, payment notes, item quantities, item tips, categories, completion status, display language, and residence basis in the device's local storage.
On first launch, the app may use the device or WebView language setting to choose the initial display language. If the language is not supported, the app displays English. If the user changes the language in the app, that choice is applied first on future launches.
3. Server transmission
The app's core features do not send the user's planning data, display language, or residence basis to a developer server. The app also does not provide multi-device sync.
If the user sends an email inquiry, the message written in the mail app and the reply address are used to respond to that inquiry.
4. Ads
The release version may show banner ads. To provide ads, ad networks such as Google AdMob may process IP addresses, advertising identifiers, device and account identifiers, app interaction information, and diagnostic information. An IP address may be used to estimate a device's general location.
Where required by law or advertising policy, the app presents privacy choices before requesting ads. Eligible users can review or change those choices through Privacy options in the app's Info screen.
The advertising identifier can be reset or deleted in Android settings. Personalized ads depend on the user's choices, device settings, and the ad network's policies.
5. Deletion and reset
Data stored on the device may be deleted if the user uses the app's delete-data feature, clears app storage, or deletes the app.
Changing the display language does not remove existing planning data. Changing the residence basis keeps common items and items added by the user, but completion, edits, or deletions for some starter preset items may be reset. In that case, the app shows a confirmation dialog before applying the change.
6. Permissions and contact
The app currently does not request location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or calendar permissions. The advertising SDK may still estimate general location from an IP address without requesting location permission.
Privacy or app-use inquiries can be sent through the email inquiry feature in the app.
